GeM Research East of England - Collaborating at the East side

About GeMRC East of England

We are a group of geriatrics trainees working within the East of England with a passion for improving the lives of older adults. We realise that the constraints of clinical training can leave limited time for involvement in research projects and the idea of setting up a research project from scratch can be extremely daunting. The aim of our collaborative is to open up research opportunities to more trainees within shorter periods of time. This has the benefit of conducting more research projects that will benefit patients,  within shorter periods of time, and offering trainees valuable research experience.

Our projects that are currently open are listed under the projects tab. If you see a project that you would like to get involved in, then please get in touch with the local East of England representative, Dr Kelli Torsney, or e-mail us at our generic mailbox. You will need to find consultants locally who are happy to act as PI for each study, but we can talk you through this process!
